Baby steps!

The rain has arrived in the Emerald Valley with a bang! Curling up with a blanket and a cup of my favorite tea sounds perfect. For me, tea makes everything better! I have much on my mind. What will I add to the blog to foof it up? What kind of adventure can I take? I have a strong need to be creative. My mind is fogged with ideas and dreams. It is my hope to add more fluff to the blog and begin to share my journey. Where am I going? Well, I am still working on that! I guess I will have to take baby steps!

What do you do when you find something that brings you joy? For me, it is finding a way to incorporate that joy in my everyday life. It seems that it is a process! Setting up this blog was step one. Now I have to figure out how to make it pretty! It will happen. I have to be patient.

Big ideas!

For the past year or more I have had this anxious feeling. You know the one. You are 10 and Christmas is a few days away! It's all you can think about and it keeps you up at night. I have a love of vintage things. I love to decorate with vintage in mind. There are several blogs I like to follow. The time I spend following those blogs puts me in my "happy place"! Somehow, someway I need to put my love of vintage to use. One day I had this Big Idea..... "I am going to blog"!! So here I go. I am not a writer, just someone with a desire to surround herself with the things that bring her joy. Of course my family brings me great joy! This is something different and a work in progress.
